Light the Path Solar Initiative

This project aims to illuminate the play area at the Upper Hammonds Plains Community Centre using clean solar energy. Primarily benefiting children, the project will also serve the broader community, who frequently use the space for events. As an extension of an existing solar education initiative, the project will engage the community in every step of its implementation. By providing lighting for the play area, which has been dark for nearly two years, the initiative will enhance accessibility after dusk while significantly reducing energy costs and demonstrating the practical value of solar energy.
